We are beginning our fundraising efforts for the initial expenses of our adoption process, beginning with the homestudy and document gathering/preparation. It's hard to give you a concrete answer as to how much each expense will be, simply because they can vary widely based on each social worker's charges, which documents we will need, how many copies of each, where we have to order them from, etc. We will be documenting these expenses on our blog as they are paid, out of accountability and gratefulness to our adoption fund contributors. We've been told to anticipate approximately $40-45 thousand dollars from beginning to completion of the adoption process of a sibling group from Ukra*ne. We will, of course, be holding a variety of periodic fundraising events, including surprise giveaways, throughout this faith-filled journey. Speaking of giveaways, if you are a business owner/manager who would be willing to donate your services, individual items, or a gift basket we can use to raise funds, we would welcome those too. We will gladly include your contact information in the post promoting your donations. If you have not product, service, or monetary means to help, your prayers are greatly appreciated as well, for it is the faith-filled prayers of the saints that can move mountains more than anything else. Thank you for your generosity and willingness to help us ransom these children from their orphanage life in Ukra*ne so they can come home to a family to call their own. We really appreciate all the support you've already given. We are blessed by your love.
